Winner: Ford Super Duty F-450
Runner-Up: Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD LTZ/GMC Sierra Denali 3500HD

These are the big daddies of the passenger-truck world: They can tow the equivalent of 10 cars at once and have enough payload capacity to carry the equivalent of a Ram 1500. Cost is less of a concern here, so we looked at the top levels for the trucks from each of the three manufacturers: Silverado HD LTZ, Sierra Denali HD, Ford F-450 King Ranch, and Ram HD 3500 Laramie. The King Ranch is the best combo of luxury interior and capability, with a rugged, attractive cabin, 24,400-pound towing capacity, and a near-5000-pound payload. For less cost, there's the Lariat model.
