WHAT'S NEW: The QX56 is all-new for 2011. Now based on the body-on-frame Nissan Patrol, the 5.6L V-8 produces 400 hp yet is more efficient than the engine it replaces. That's partly due to the new 7A transmission. The QX56's wheelbase is 2.1 in. shorter and length is extended 1.4 in. from the last-gen SUV.
COOL FACT: While 20-in. wheels are standard on the QX56, 22s are optional.
SUM UP: Legitimate Escalade fighter.
