WHAT'S NEW: The Grand Cherokee is new for 2011 and gives up its live rear axle for four-wheel independent suspension. Based on the Mercedes-Benz ML platform, the Jeep is 2.6 in. wider and has a 5.3-in.-longer wheelbase. The interior is more refined and a new Select-Terrain system tailors the hardware to the conditions.

COOL FACT: Jeep's Quadra-Lift can raise the air suspension 2.6 inches up from normal mode for rock-climbing, or lower it 1.5 inches to park.
