Urban racers have dominated the driving game scene for the last few years, though few have approached the polish of Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition. Building on a respected franchise, MC3 draws on the sprawling world and urban culture of Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto, with clear Need for Speed Underground influence and Midtown Madness' checkpoint hijinks. The result is an urban-savvy game that focuses on stimulation over simulation, with enough interaction to support a car-cultured virtual world, without the hokey pokey that has neutered some competitors.
