Product SpotLight: Flex-a-lite Fullsize Truck Electric Fan
According to Flex-a-lite, the simplest way to free up more power from an engine is to reduce the load placed on it. That'swhy replacing the heavy factory clutch fan with a durable and lightweight electric fan can yield as much as 17 horsepower and 21 lb.-ft. of torque, according to the company. To make this an easy job, Flex-a-lite has a fullsize truck electric fan for a variety of Ford, GM and Dodge applications. This electric dual-fan system comes with its own shroud and is manufactured from glass-reinforced, injection-molded nylon that is lightweight and resistant to extreme heat. Furthermore, with its variable control module, the Flex-a-lite fullsize truck electric fan can turn on at any temperature desired, as well as add extra cooling power when the A/C is turned on or during heavy-duty towing conditions.
