Product SpotLight: Auto-Covers Powered Tonneau

Auto-Covers Inc., manufacturer of the Auto-Covers powered retractable hard-cover tonneau system now offers a new upgraded latching system on the tonneau applications that fit the Chevrolet Avalanche and Escalade EXT.

The new latching system uses a small, center-mounted low-profile bumper system to land the panels on the vehicle roof. The Auto-Cover powered tonneau system uses 2-connecting panels made of a lightweight durable foam core with reinforced metal edging and ribbing for added strength that carries up to 200 lbs. Panels are coated with Aristo-Coat Quantum Shield; a textured, semi-gloss back protective coating that is fade and scratch resistant. Panels are driven by Power Packer's mini-hydraulic system to power the panels to the roof of the vehicle. Designed with automatic shut-off, this system sparingly uses energy. Convenience at the touch of a button, the panels store out of the way in the upright position. Aerodynamically designed to drive with panels fully open reducing drag and wind resistance. Close the system and the panels are securely sealed to the truck bed protecting your contents with a water-tight seal, ensuring a total dry truck bed.
