Royal Purple's micro-glass oil filters use technology found in heavy-duty commercial fleets. The filters, made for light-duty trucks, use synthetic glass microfibers 10 times smaller than conventional cellulose filter fibers, for filtration said to be 99 percent efficient. This filter allows change intervals to be extended to up to 12,000 miles and are compatible with all synthetic and conventional oils.
