The latest addition to Alpine’s iXA family is the iXA-W407, a double-DIN digital media station with a 7-inch QVGA touch-screen display, iPod/iPhone playback, integrated Bluetooth, and optional hard drive-based navigation. Mobile electronics junkies are sure to appreciate the accessible graphical user interface with slide-and-touch functions and multi-source connectivity. Located in the back of the unit are three pairs of 2V pre-outs and a built-in 18W RMS x 4 amplifier for easy customizing.The navigation unit used is the NVE-M300 GPS Navigation Drive. The compact external drive is mounted in a hideaway location and utilizes OnPoint Advanced GPS Positioning for accurate navigation. NVE-M300 features include text-to-speech announcements, assistive mapping visuals, and customizable map and menu color schemes.
