Superlift is no stranger to raising trucks, and now the company will be shipping their tallest available lift kit for the 2008-10 Ford F-250/F-350 4x4. The 10-inch lift kit will assist the Super Duty 4x4’s twin-coil mono-beam front suspension by converting the stock front radius arms to Superlift’s four-link system. The four-link conversion is necessary compared to lower lifts -- 2 to 8 inches -- in order to maintain correct caster angle and reduce steering shimmy. A high-angle CV front driveshaft will also be required to accommodate the truck’s new height, and new coil springs will feature compression rates specific to the engine (gas versus diesel). A relocated front Panhard rod will reduce excessive yaw and roll.
Out back, the leaf-sprung suspension will be raised with replacement Superide spring packs and 2-inch blocks. The 10-inch-raised Super Duty 4x4 will clear up to 40-inch-tall tires.
