The Toyota FJ Cruiser is a capable retro SUV, but owners unsatisfied with the factory suspension can switch to a new 2.5-inch lift from the off-road experts at Zone Offroad Products.

Some would call the FJ Cruiser the true successor to the original Land Cruiser, and we wouldn't fault them for that suggestion. Available with full- or part-time four-wheel drive, the FJ Cruiser can get a little taller and run some thicker rubber in the wheel wells with a lift.

The kit lifts the front end by 2.5 inches and the back by 1.5 inches. The rear anti-roll bar is relocated to allow for greater wheel articulation, and buyers have the choice of hydraulic or nitrogen shocks. The front and rear steel spacers are powdercoated and the maximum tire size is a 285/75/16 with 5-inch backspacing. With a taller tire sidewall, lifted FJ Cruisers should be able to run over many more obstacles. Price $229.95
