If you have an older vehicle with a single-DIN head unit size, and thought you were out-of-luck as far as getting the latest in audio technology, fear not. Alpine Electronics has some new head units that fit your dashboard and your budget, while giving you the latest integration and listening options.

The entry-level CDE-134HD model features an HD Radio receiver with iTunes tagging, a front USB plug for iPod and iPhone plus passenger controls, USB MP3 mass storage mode, front auxiliary input jack, and a built-in 18W x 4 amplifier.

The CDE-135BT adds Pandora internet radio for Android and BlackBerry, and Bluetooth wireless audio streaming, and compatibility with factory Bluetooth steering wheel control functions.

The top-of-the-line CDE-HD138BT adds compatibility with SiriusXM satellite radio with the available add-on tuner, MediaXpander Pro DSP sound processing, a 5-band parametric equalizer, low- and high-pass filters and a subwoofer phase and level control.

Prices for the 2012 line of single-DIN receivers range from $179.95 for the CDE-134HD to $299.95 for the CDE-HD138BT. Pricing may vary at the retail level, and does not include installation.
