Playing it CoolSpearco offers intercooler upgrades for 7.3- and 6.0-liter Power Strokes, 5.9-liter Cummins (1994-2002 and 2003-2006), and the Duramax. These intercoolers drop EGT as boost pressure goes up, improving the diesel's performance. The 7.3-liter Ford system seen here is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory unit. Bed and shouldersWise Industries is now making its BedRug for the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. This bedliner's nonskid surface is made of polypropylene fiber, which is bonded to a layer of water-resistant polypropylene foam. The plastic feels like carpet, but resists dirt, grease, and oil, and can be hosed off or cleaned with a vacuum. The liner is removable and reusable. Pan-TasticPML's extra-high-capacity pan is available for the transmissions in the Dakota, Ram 1500, Wrangler, Cherokee, and Grand Cherokee equipped with the V-6 or 5.2-liter V-8. The sand-cast aluminum pan holds two more quarts of oil than stock, reducing oil temperatures, and has internal baffles that make sure the filter stays soaked in oil.
