Gear: Enpocket Drives the Ford Edge onto the Mobile Screen

Enpocket, the Intelligent Mobile MarketingTM company, announced that it was selected by Ford's interactive media agency, Mindshare.

Mindshare, Team Detroit, to deliver a first-of-its-kind mobile experience for the launch of the new Ford Edge. The end-to-end program, powered by the Enpocket platform, includes a multimedia mobile web site where consumers can learn about the Ford Edge, sign up for text alerts, download a variety of Ford Edge wallpapers, and click to play the Ford Edge video. Enpocket is also running the promotional SMS campaigns to drive traffic to the Ford site. The mobile site is being promoted in newspapers and billboards with a `short code' text mechanic where consumers can text in for the link to the Ford site and with ad banners on the mobile web.

"Ford is the first large, global brand to launch a mobile program with this level of depth & sophistication," said Brian Bos, Convergence Director at Mindshare - Team Detroit. "We chose Enpocket because of their development experience in this medium and their ability to deliver the entire mobile solution. Their platform has the capability to deliver a true multimedia mobile phone experience to consumers, including SMS messaging, video & screensaver downloads, etc., maximizing the time consumers with the Ford brand.
