Auto News: Truck-bedz Announces Acceptance of SEMA Global Media Award

November 20, 2007

At the recent SEMA show in Las Vegas Truck-bedz was honored to receive the SEMA Global Media Award for their new T Series line of air mattresses.

Truck-bedz recognized the demand upon OEMs to create pickup trucks with increasingly larger cabs and shorter cargo boxes. To suit these vehicles Truck-bedz created a series of "T" shaped air mattresses uniquely designed to convert that extra tailgate length into additional sleeping area. This innovative design caught the attention of attendees of SEMA as well as the SEMA Global Media Award's panel of judges.

"We are pleased to see that this esteemed international media panel has recognized our innovative products" Terry Hanrahan president of Truck-bedz said of the award. Truck-bedz was selected as a recipient by a panel of 50 journalists and competed with over 2,000 other new products.

Truck-bedz offers abrasion resistance, puncture resistance, 4 season cold weather resistance, overall durability and industry leading 2 year warranty. Truck-bedz Expedition Series are constructed from heavy duty nylon expedition grade backpack cloth, coated with a special TPU polyurethane and then RF welded into the shapes that naturally fit into the back of pickup trucks and SUV's.

Their innovative vehicle sleeping solutions are engineered to fit the outdoor lifestyle.

Truck-bedz is located in Laguna Hills, California. www.truck-bedz.com
