Superlift has updated their Dodge 2-in., 4-in., and 6-in. lift systems to fit the 2008-2009 3/4 - and 1-ton Heavy Duty Rams. Different track-bar hardware and brake-hose relocation brackets have been modified for the new lift systems, and a new dropped pitman arm is included in the 6-in. system.
The 2-in. Level-It system utilizes front coil spacers, while the 4-in. and 6-in. systems include engine-specific front coils for Hemi and Cummins applications. Additionally for the 4-in. and 6-in. systems are closed-cell foam compression travel stops, replacement upper and lower trailing arms to maintain alignment specifications and handling, a track bar bracket, front swaybar extensions, a transmission drop bracket (6-in. kit for automatic transmission applications), and Superide shock absorbers. Tapered blocks level the rear for OE ride quality.
With Superlift systems, factory-offset wheels are still useable. The 4-in. kit fits 35x12.50 tires, and the 6-in. kit will fit 37x12.50 tires on 8-in. wheels out-of-the-box.
The complete Superlift Lift Kits also feature additional options, including Rockrunner upper and lower trailing links, front and rear multishock mounts, and a choice of upgraded SS monotube shocks or SSR remote-reservoir monotubes. The list of options continues with an available dual-steering stabilizer system, carrier-bearing shims for Rams that have two-piece rear driveshafts, a transfer-case indexing ring (6-in. kit), TruSpeed speed-sensor recalibrator, and others.
