Spied: Bentley SUV

An artist's rendering showing what could be the first hint at an SUV from the British marque

It could happen--the German-owned company might be getting a sport/utility. While the image you see here is an artist's rendering, it could be the first hint at an SUV from the British marque. For a long time rumors have suggested that Bentley would be producing an SUV-type vehicle, and it's obvious that parent-company Volkswagen wants to broaden the range of Bentley. An SUV would, some declare, fit perfectly to the image of the British make. It would make sense to let Porsche do the basic engineering, as it was heavily involved in developing the Touareg/Cayenne. While underpinnings wouldn't differ much from those used for the three existing SUVs, power for the Bentley is likely to come from the Arnage's 475 horsepower, 6.75 liter V-8 and the Continental GT's 560 horse, 6.0 liter W12 twin-turbo.
