Jerome Pelichet and Eugenie Decre took top honors in their Team Raid Lynx Bowler Wildcat, while father and son duo Roberto and Nicola Tonetti finished second in the Team Pro Race Bowler Wildcat. The Team Cantal Events Qt Services Wildcat, piloted by Michel Visy and Philippe Bourquin, followed in third place for the cars and trucks. Team Redbull’s Cyril Despre was classified first over all competitors on his KTM 690.

Even after landing on top of all cars and trucks, Decre was anxious to get to their next event: “For sure there were some impressive cars at the technical check but in the end, we can say that the reliability of the Wildcat is more proven,” he said. “We hope to repeat the success in December on the Eco Rally Africa Race.”

The Wildcat is a purpose-built off-roader originally conceived by U.K.-based Bowler. Qt Services acquired the rights to the former Bowler machine last year and is now the primary manufacturer and supporter of all Wildcats worldwide. Based on the Land Rover Defender, the Qt Services Wildcat currently features a newly developed, close-ratio, straight-cut gearbox, a revised steering system, and an all-new Jaguar 4.0-liter V-8 housed within its tube chassis. Sixty-millimeter Donerre lithium quick-rebound dampers are mounted beneath the Wildcat for improved handling and traction.
