Porsche is recalling 270 vehicles including 2012 Cayenne Turbo SUVs for a faulty turbine wheel. The turbine wheel could fracture due to a casting defect, causing oil to be drawn into the exhaust system, and increasing the risk of a fire. The recall also affects Panamera Turbo sedan models.

The Problem: The turbine wheel on the exhaust side of the turbocharger may fracture due to a casting defect. A fracture could result in decreased vehicle performance, oil leakage into the exhaust system, resulting in excessive smoke and an increased risk of fire.
