Toyota has announced that it will unveil the second generation Highlander midsize SUV next month at the Chicago Auto Show. Toyota is staying mum about any details, but has said that the 2008 Highlander is an all-new design. Toyota also plans to unveil the Highlander Hybrid alongside the gasoline-only model (a 2007 Highlander Hybrid is pictured).
The Highlander is one of Toyota's best selling models in the U.S. Sales of the vehicle dipped slightly in 2006, but the automaker is hoping for a rebound once the new model is released.
