Scion announced 2009 xB pricing

April 11, 2008

By Zach Gale

The 2009 model year will be a quiet one for Scion in terms of updates and price increases. The MSRP of the controversial toaster-on-wheels xB, which was redesigned last year, goes up by just $100 to $15,750 for the five-speed manual and to $16,700 for the four-speed automatic with sequential shifting. This low increase makes sense considering the xB went up by $1620-$1770 last year to account for the first to second generation changes. Consumers looking at an xB in Nautical Blue Metallic should snap up a 2008 model unless they're OK with the replacement color, Stingray Metallic.

All prices do not include a $620 delivery and handling fee.
