Fans of Volkswagens legendary campervans get ready: Vanfest, the worlds largest gathering of campervans, is near (if you happen to call Britain your home).
The event will be held in Melvern, England and features VW's factory backed competition called the "Five Generations of Camper" that will select one van from each generation from the shows attendees.
VW camper owners can enter their vans in the competition via the show's website prior to the event start on September 12. If selected the owner will receive $200 worth of VW merchandise and their van will be displayed on a special campervan exhibit.
Over 8000 campers are expected to gather for Vanfest and will be able to enjoy the variety of exhibits, vendors and concerts held on the fairgrounds, as well as the highly-anticipated Cooking in a Camper Contest.
If you can't wait until September, another camper gathering called CamperJam will take place next weekend. In addition to the hundreds of expected campers, the smaller show will feature The Who's special edition 1965 'split-screen' camper that will be raffled for charity.
The van features a unique livery designed by the legendary band's art director Richard Evans. Proceeds from the raffled will benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust that assists teenagers and young adults in their fight against cancer.
