Acura announced pricing figures for its best-selling MDX luxury SUV for the 2009 model year, now available at Acura dealerships. Manufacturer's suggested retail pricing (MSRP) for the 2009 MDX starts at $40,790. Different packages available for the MDX include the Technology Package (MSRP of $44,840), Technology and Entertainment Packages ($46,590), Sport Package ($46,940), Sport and Entertainment Packages ($48,690). Destination and handling, not included in MSRP, remains the same at $760. The pricing for the 2009 model represents a 1.43% sales weighted average price increase.

New for the 2009 MDX is the availability of a power rear tailgate feature now standard with the Technology and Sport packages. The power rear tailgate was previously only available with the Entertainment Package. The AcuraLink real-time traffic system now includes the Dayton, Ohio, market, and there are also two new paint colors -- Bali Blue Pearl and Mocha Metallic.
