Fresh off their announcement about the 2010 Buick Lacrosse's engine options yesterday, GM Inside News is at it again today with another leak, this time about the 2010 Cadillac SRX and Chevrolet Equinox.

Like the Lacrosse, the SRX and Equinox will both be getting the new 3.0L SIDI V-6, codenamed LF1, which is reportedly good for around 250 hp in the Lacrosse. In the Equinox, the V-6 will be an "up-level" engine from the new 2.3L four-cylinder engine with direct injection in the base model. That engine will supposedly generate about 210 hp. In the SRX, the 3.0L is expected to be the base engine while the direct-injected 3.6L V-6 found in the Cadillac CTS will serve as the top-level engine.
