Dutch company Spyker, known for its pricey supercars, will be putting its Spyker SUV into production next year. The SUV was first seen as a concept at the Geneva motor show in 2006, when it was known as the Spyker D12 Peking to Paris SUV.
The Spyker luxury SUV will be available for a hefty amount of around $278,000. While the SUV may seem like a hard sell in today's market, the high interest demonstrated for the Ferrari California and Aston Martin One-77 does not have Spyker worried about its SUV's release. A Spyker D12 Peking to Paris SUV has one of the most striking SUV designs on the road and is expected to feature massive amounts of power underneath the hood. While official numbers and specifications are still unknown, a W-12 Volkswagen engine is expected to propel the SUV from 0 to 60 within the 5.0 sec range.
