2009 Ford F150 SFE Front View

Ford and GM recently introduced higher-fuel-economy versions of their half-ton pickups; Dodge also added a taller gear ratio for HD diesel pickups, but didn't publicize it. This chart lists fuel-economy ratings taken from the U.S. Government Web site; the F-150 SFE is the only domestic pickup that gets its best mileage rating with the smallest-displacement engine offered (Nissan's one-engine Titan not included).
