Toyota is recalling 1348 vehicles ranging from model-year 2009 Highlanders, RAV4s, Siennas, Tacomas and Yaris as well as model-year 2009 and 2010 Tundras and model-year 2009 Scion tCs and xBs to replace the Load Carrying Capacity Modification Labels. The affected vehicles have incorrect labels that do not conform with the "Tire Selection and Rims" requirement of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. The incorrect labels could lead owners to unknowingly overload their vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash. Toyota will contact the owners and send them free corrected labels to apply over the old labels. The recall, NHTSA ID No. 09V223000, begins this month.
