The 2010 Lincoln MKT will be the first Lincoln vehicle to offer Amerigon's proprietary Climate Control Seat system for both the front and second rows of seating, providing the most comfortable seating arrangements for any weather and climate condition. The CCS system provides efficient seat heating and cooling independent of the vehicle's heating and air conditioning system, and does not reduce the amount of power available to the engine. The CCS system is also environmentally-friendly, emitting no CFCs or other gases.

Other Lincoln vehicles offering CCS are the MKZ, MKX, MKS, and Navigator. The MKT, which shares its platform with the Ford Flex, is expected to be in showrooms late this summer. The full-size utility vehicle will use a fuel-efficient 3.7L 24V V-6 engine expected to make 268 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque while delivering 24 mpg. An uprated 3.5L EcoBoost V-6 with direct injection will supply 355 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque.
