The latest addition to Goodyear's Wrangler lineup of truck tires is the DuraTrac tire, an innovative new tire with plentiful features to cover both on- and off-road duties. The hard-working tire will be capable of pulling double-duty with ease, serving well on both the job site and dirt OHV roads.

The latest DuraTrac tire utilizes Goodyear's proprietary TractiveGroove Technology, which gives the tire better traction in deep mud and snow. A rugged tread rubber is used to help resist block chipping, chunking, and tearing, while a combination of highly angled center tread blocks and zig-zag microgrooves give the DuraTrac better lateral stability and enhanced wet traction, while also reducing road noise. Wrangler DuraTrac tires have earned the right to carry the European Commission Noise Symbol for passing stringent European standards for pass-by noise.

Other features assisting the DuraTrac in off-road conditions include self-cleaning, stepped shoulder blocks coupled with thousands of biting edges for increased traction and handling. Excellent snow traction also gives the DuraTrac tire the right to bear the Rubber Manufacturers Association's Mountain Snowflake Symbol. For even icier conditions, the DuraTrac can be equipped with #16 metal studs.

Additional features on the DuraTrac include a rim lock to help prevent wheel slip for minimal balancing throughout the life of the tire, and a built-in rim protector to help protect wheels from curb damage. The DuraTrac is offered in 26 popular sizes that should fit most trucks on the road today.
