1964 Dodge D-100 Truck Project Underway for Cherry Bomb

All it took was a peek into a barn and $300, and Cherry Bomb had their hands on their next hot rod project, a 1964 Dodge D-100 Short Bed Stepside truck. The first parts added to the truck were a Mopar 526 crate motor HEMI with aluminum heads, dual carburetors, long-tube headers, 4-in-1 dragster style Zoomies, and Wilwood Brakes. A Viper T-60 six-speed transmission was installed by Matt Delaney of Delaney Automotive.

A Cherry Bomb patina-style logo by Brian Papa Studios was then added to the truck, along with Cherry Bomb Glasspacks. Stacey David of GearZ added a ladder bar-style rear suspension, a Lokar shifter and gas pedal, and vintage Radir drag slicks on wide whites for the rear and Coker Tires up front.

Hello to all involved with the "Chery Bomb" project.

I was very excited to read this article! I was hoping that this would have been a major feature with alot more pics and information about the build.
Not only am I a Dodge guy, I am building a 1963 D100 shortbed.
I am building it "gasser" style to drag race.
I plan to run high 10's to low 11's. Based off the 1964 B/FX "Flying Barn Door" of Dick Boyton's.
I have a few questions about the "Cherry Bomb" build that will help me complete my project.
Questions include:
Rear suspension(ladder bar style suspension), Wilwood brakes, long-tube headers with zoomies ect.
Someone elose see's the potential of the older D100's.
Thank you all so much for the ray of sunshine that this article brought to me!!!

Any resource information on these items would be so helpful and appriciated.
