The purpose-built 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor off-road truck has been turning heads since it made its first appearance in late 2008, and now Ford has put up a dedicated Web page to exhibit the capabilities of the high-performance truck.
The website offers a closer look at the special truck through a 360-degree view, and videos and photos of the Raptor in action. Site users can explore the unique components that give the Raptor its special identity, which includes special off road suspension, a special rear axle, side running boards, off-road tires and wheels, and more. Video content includes shots of both the production SVT Raptor and Raptor R race truck, clips and interviews from the 2008 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, and other unique content.
In addition to the website, a SVT Raptor driving simulator has been visiting auto shows across the nation, giving testers an opportunity to experience off-road racing in the desert. The simulator pivots on four axes, and includes engine recordings from the Raptor R race truck to enhance the experience.
