2011 Chevy Silverado Front Bumper View

What appears to be the new heavy-duty Silverado 3500 pickup from Chevy has been spotted with an updated front bumper. The bumper corners have been softened with the addition of plastic to their uppermost portion from end to end. The inlet in the middle of the bumper that feeds air to the transmission oil cooler has been enlarged by about a third, which may signify changes to the Allison transmission. The spotted front grille is likely to be temporary, with a different grille for 2011 still under wraps.

For 2010, the Duramax diesel is expected to see increased power numbers (reportedly over 700 lb-ft of torque), while meeting the upcoming 2010 EPA diesel emissions regulations.

what's up with the wires hanging out?

the wire sticking out of the grille is for the engine heater to keep the diesel engine warm during winter months.
