Carey Hart has joined Team General Tire to compete in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series. The short course style of off-road racing was considered Hart's "next logical step in [his] career," as his many accomplishments in the world of motocross have led to his movement to another aspect of racing. Hart, who came from PMG Racing, is competing in the Unlimited 2 class and made his debut this past weekend at the Primm Valley Motorsports Complex in Primm, Nevada, April 4-5.
Hart's long career in motocross began back when he was a teen, and his long list of accomplishments speaks volumes. He was the first to ever perform a full back-flip on a 250cc bike, which was subsequently dubbed the "Hart Attack." The flip was performed at the 2000 Gravity Games. Most recently, the motocross legend has become a TV personality and has been opening a chain of successful tattoo shops.
