The 2009 Infiniti EX35 entry-level luxury SUV will carry a base price of $34,665 (including $865 destination), making it one of the least expensive vehicles in the segment -- even with a $2500 price hike over the 2008 model.
A 297-hp 3.5L V-6 engine mated to a five-speed automatic is also standard equipment.
RearView Monitor may help all EX drivers back into a garage without hitting a wall, but it's not to be confused with Infiniti's optional Around View Monitor, which uses a series of cameras to show you what's lurking in your blind spots in a bird's eye view format.
Upgrade to the top-of-the-line AWD Journey model -- which has an MSRP of $38,265 including destination -- and you'll be spending $1150 more than for a 2008 model but, like the 2010 Cadillac SRX, still near the low end of this class.
The 2009 Infiniti EX35 officially goes on sale tomorrow.
