Despite the glut of 2009 inventory, new models must continue to roll out, and today the 2010 Honda Pilot went on sale. The Honda SUV received no updates save for slight price bumps.
Highlights of the Pilot include seating for eight, a spacious 87.0 cu. ft. of cargo space with the second and third rows folded, and the 3.5L i-VTEC V-6 engine with Variable Cylinder Management, Hill Start Assist, and 250 hp/253 lb-ft of torque. 4WD models are equipped with the Variable Torque Management 4-Wheel Drive System. Fuel economy sits at an EPA-estimated 17 city/23 highway for the 2WD model, and 16 city/22 highway for the 4WD model. A DVD entertainment system package is available as a $1600 option on EX-L and Touring trims.
