To comply with today's stringent clean-air laws, Dometic offers its battery-powered air-conditioning systems for day cabs and sleepers, which was on display at the recent Great West Truck Show. In addition to the air-conditioning systems were Dometic's full line of refrigerators and freezers, which also run off battery power. These CARB-compliant, no-idle products provide truck drivers with the comfort features they want, without the emissions and fuel consumption that came with previous products that required the truck to idle.
Dometic's expanded line of power-supply boxes also was on display. The prewired boxes come in three sizes to fit the power needs of day cabs, midsize sleepers, and full-size sleepers.
