Toyota Releases Prices on 2010 FJ Cruiser, Highlander, RAV4, and Tacoma Pickup

The Toyota FJ Cruiser is getting a bump in power and fuel economy for the 2010 model year. It's one of the more substantial changes Toyota is making to its lineup as new vehicles roll into dealerships with minimal price increases.

2010 FJ Cruisers will have 19 hp and 1 mpg more than before. Perhaps more significant for everyday driving, the bold SUV's turning radius has shrunk by more than a foot. If those changes don't sway you from a 2009 to a 2010 model, then maybe the new Army Green color will.

MSRP: $24,480 for a 2WD with an automatic transmission, $26,070 for a 4WD with an automatic transmission
Increase from 2009: $360, 1.4-1.5%

For 2010, those consumers who want a Highlander with a backup monitor without other fancy options will get their wish. The technology is now an option on the base V-6 model. A power moonroof will be optional for the base four-cylinder model while the Sport model receives a stainless steel exhaust tip, and its price goes up 50 bucks.

MSRP: $26,505 for a base four-cylinder, $41,820 for a Limited 4WD hybrid (the hybrid is unchanged for 2010)
Increase from 2009: $0-50, 0-0.2%

On the RAV4 SUV, chrome accents on the Limited model are the extent of the changes for this carryover year.

MSRP: $22,300 for a base 2WD four-cylinder, $28,610 for a 4WD Limited V-6
Increase from 2009: None

We're confident we've saved the most exciting for last. The 2010 Tacoma truck gets "enhancements to the front cup-holder functionality" but no price increase.

MSRP: $15,970 for a Regular Cab with a manual transmission, $27875 for a V-6 4x4 Double Cab Long Bed with an automatic transmission
Increase from 2009: None

All prices include destination fees, $750 for passenger cars and $800 for light trucks.
