Toyota is getting ready to take the wraps off its all-new 2010 Toyota 4Runner. It has released the first teaser image of the fifth-generation SUV, which is set to make its debut in the sheetmetal at the State Fair of Texas on September 24.
The automaker is promising the vehicle will continue to have plenty of the mud-slinging, down-and-dirty ability the vehicle is known for. Glancing at the image, it certainly looks the off-road part, with a boxy, cladded-up grille, plenty of ground clearance, and burly tires. Of course, Toyota also says the new 4Runner will be more comfortable and have a roomier interior package. More than 1.8 million 4Runners have been produced since its introduction in 1984, with 70 percent of those still on the road today, according to Toyota.
