On December 12, Tustin Hummer in Orange County, California will be the gathering site for nearly 100 local Hummer owners as they prepare to deliver toys to children in need. This year's event will be the dealership's fifth Toys for Tots caravan, which provides donated toys for thousands of local homeless and impoverished children served by the Orange County Rescue Mission. Orange County-based Hummer owners are encouraged to take part in the charitable event.
"The Orange County Rescue Mission is thrilled to receive this generous and much needed donation from Tustin Hummer," said Jim Palmer, president of the Orange County Rescue Mission. "Due to the recession, the demand for assistance is at an all-time high. The holiday season is a particularly difficult time for families in crisis and these toys will go directly to help bring some holiday magic to the most vulnerable homeless population we serve, the children."
The participants will meet at Tustin Hummer at 7:30 a.m. before departing for the Village of Hope center in Tustin at 9:30 a.m. Learn more by visiting the link below.
