Land Rover’s 2009 holiday gift guide includes an unusual and interesting item: a snowbike. At first glance, it looks similar to a stationary bicycle better fit for the gym or a living room, but, as you might expect from its name, this is a bike you ride in the snow. The Brenter-sourced snowbike glides on skis instead of wheels and is billed as a great winter alternative for those who don’t snowboard, ski, sled, or tube. The bike weighs less than 20 pounds and supposedly takes less than an hour to learn.
If you aren’t nearly as adventurous, other holiday suggestions include the
Land Rover phone, Mulholland leather travel bags, plush toys, a Land Rover ID bracelet, and a very neat radio-controlled Land Rover LR2. The toy LR2 is a 1:15 scale model and features oversized, all-terrain tires and a sturdy front brush guard for collision duties.
While it may be too late to use ground shipping, expedited services are always available.
