This weekend, Emily Miller and Wendy Fisher will represent the Red, White, and Blue as they embark on the 20th anniversary edition of the female-only Rallye Aicha des Gazelles. Competitors will first gather in Sete, France, before transferring to Erfoud, Morocco, for the official race during March 13-16. The nine-day rally runs from March 17-25 and ends with a formal closing ceremony on March 27. Miller and Fisher also competed in the 2009 edition, finishing 5th in their class and 21st overall.

The rally forbids the use of GPS, pace notes, phones, radios, and chase teams, meaning teams must rely purely on traditional navigation skills (re: compasses and maps). This year, Miller and Fisher will be driving a specially prepared Hummer H3 after piloting a stripped-down Isuzu D-Max truck last year.
