Yes, the maker of "silver bullet" trailers has teamed up with premier outdoor gear label Eddie Bauer to build what they call the "ultimate adventure trailer".
For 2011, the Airstream's iconic trailer design gets some improvements like a sport hatch (for easier cargo loading), fold away dinette lounge, oversize Michelin tires, and lined wheel well cladding. There are also a handheld exterior shower, clothes lines, and racks to keep you and your textiles clean.
Inside, Bauer touches up passenger space with maple and soapstone laminates, patterned locker doors, and quilted (and stain resistant) Sunbrella materials. Dozing off means laying your head on a queen size bed lined with Bauer Goose Down covers.
