Navistar expanded the International TerraStar commercial truck lineup at The Work Truck Show this year with the addition of a four-wheel-drive model.
The class 4/5 truck is powered by a 300-horsepower 6.4-liter V-8 engine with 660 pound-feet of torque. The diesel has what Navistar calls MaxxForce Advanced EGR, which is emissions technology that means you don't need to worry about liquid urea.
"With the addition of a 4x4 model, simply put, the International TerraStar is unmatched in the industry," said Jim Hebe, Navistar's senior vice president, North American sales operations.
Navistar says 2000 orders for the two-wheel-drive International TerraStar truck have been received. No doubt that number will only increase with the announcement of a four-wheel-drive model.
