The Jeep Grand Cherokee is quite a charmer, and Jeep wants to give its most awarded SUV its 15 seconds of fame in a new ad campaign that boasts all the vehicle's achievements.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit will step into the limelight, showing its face all over print, on television, and on the web for the first time in this newest string of ads. Last year, a full-page advertisement in USA Today helped with the launch of the Grand Cherokee, and the same will be done again this year. This time, a four-page spread the magazine gives bragging rights to the Jeep, naming it "The Most Awarded SUV Ever."

A series of commercials will also showcase the Grand Cherokee Overland Summit model, with one claiming the SUV can travel from Pebble Beach to Los Angeles without having to stop at the gas pump, thanks in part to the new Pentastar V-6 engine. The spot cracks that some drivers can't even get that far without filling up themselves, as it shows the driver of a Jeep pull in front of a restaurant for much-needed munchies. Other commercials show off the SUV's suspension system and interior.
According to Jeep, the Grand Cherokee continues to make a name for itself. Mike Manley, CEO of the Jeep Brand said, "It is a vehicle that has proven the test of time and has continued to elevate its game to compete not only within its traditional SUV segment but beyond. The Jeep Grand Cherokee continues to deliver a unique blend of on-road refinement, superb craftsmanship, world-class design, improved fuel economy, innovative features, legendary real-world 4x4 capability and great value."
So far the SUV has collected 30 awards, and hopes to collect many more with help from its newest improvements.
