Several weeks ago, we showed you the Altitude editions of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Compass and Patriot models. We wondered how long it would be before the Wrangler received the Altitude treatment -- well, wonder no more.
Exterior highlights of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude edition start with a body-colored hardtop with matching painted center sections on the front and rear bumpers. Like its other Jeep stablemates, the predominant theme is black-out trim, in this case being a matte black Jeep logo, a Mopar black fuel fill door, and a black tone-on-tone hood graphic.
As on the other Altitude editions, the Wrangler is available in four colors, Deep Cherry Red, Black, Bright White and Bright Silver Metallic. Special 18-inch wheels feature black spokes and polished wheel rings.
On the inside, red stitching accents the black leather seats, door panels, center armrest, floormats and steering wheel. The vent rings, steering-wheel spokes, door pulls and passenger-side dashboard grab handle are all black, giving the interior a unique look.
No other major mechanical changes were announced or are expected for the Altitude edition. The Wrangler Unlimited Altitude will start at $34,640 including destination.
