Well Done: Project Kahn Shows Off a (Tastefully) Modified Range Rover Evoque

We usually worry a bit when tuners announce modified versions of good looking cars, and we were even more worried when we heard that the newest project car in this case was the Range Rover Evoque. Still, we can't help but look at this model, which has been tweaked by the British tuning house Project Kahn and think...not bad.

Kahn's project car starts with a standard Evoque -- already a car known for its striking looks -- and drops the suspension 1.4 inches. The British design firm then paints the brake calipers yellow, and the roof orange. The rear seats are obscured from bystanders by way of deeply tinted privacy glass, which blends with the black A-, B-, and C-pillars. The exterior is finished with a couple of orange accents on the headlight surrounds and side vents, along with Kahn's bespoke RS600 gray wheels in 20, 21, or 22-inch guises. Kahn pledges it can completely customize the interior to suit the fancy of the buyer, although the Evoque pictured here seemingly was given only aluminum pedals.

As is usual with Kahn, this particular model is but the start of a full customization program, and any buyer with enough cash is welcome to take this template and modify it to whatever extreme he or she wants. Here's hoping they show some restraint when placing their order...
