Dodge is adding second-row captain's chairs as an option on all 2012 Durango models. The vehicle was available exclusively with second-row bench seats when it was introduced last year. Dodge says this new seating option will give customers more interior flexibility, with its fold-flat capability and two available center console designs.
All trim levels of the three-row Dodge Durango, including SXT, Crew, R/T, and Citadel, will get second-row captain's chairs as an option. The option will cost $695, and will include an innovative flip-and-fold feature, integrated soft-touch armrests, and a floor-mounted center console that can hold drinks and small objects. A larger center console is available for an additional $300, and come with more storage space, illuminated cup holders, USB input, and 12-volt power outlet for charging. The seats can be folded flat when more cargo room is needed, and come upholstered in either cloth or leather, depending on trim and equipment level.
