How do you improve on an SUV that earned the Golden Calipers to become Motor Trend's 2012 SUV of the Year? German tuning firm Arden thinks they have an idea. The tuner got its hands on a 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, and recently released a catalog of visual and performance parts for the stylish new crossover.

Arden's performance modifications for the Range Rover Evoque are rather modest. Arden will take a model equipped with the 2.2-liter turbodiesel I-4 (unfortunately not available in the U.S. market) and boost power up 25-hp, and torque up 37 lb-ft with an ECU reflash. That brings horsepower from 148 to 173, and torque from 280 lb-ft to 317 lb-ft. Arden will also lower the Evoque about 1.2 inches, thanks to custom springs.

Arden will also modify the exterior of the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. Arden offers illuminated side-steps with holes punched in them by lasers, almost giving them a side-pipe-like appearance. Arden also offers a stainless steel mesh grille for the Evoque hand-built in Germany.
