Nissan and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have announced a recall concerning the Nissan Versa's transmission, while Ford recalls the Expedition and Navigator full-size SUVs for problems with the head restraints.

2012 Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator

The Problem: The head restraint equipped on the right-hand seat in the second row may not provide the proper amount of support in a crash because it may have inadequate welds on the support brackets.

The Fix: Ford will replace head restraints (if necessary) at no cost to the owner, and will begin notifying owners around February 20, 2012. Owners can also contact Ford at 1-866-436-7332.

Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 569 Explorer and Lincoln models manufactured from November 19, 2011 through December 2, 2011.
