Three crossovers appear on WardsAuto's annual 10 Best Interiors list for 2012. There was no price cap on the eligibility of models, and the highest-priced model on the list, the Audi A7 "four-door coupe," had an as-equipped price of $67,430.
The highest-priced crossover on the list was the 2013 Infiniti JX35, which carried an as-tested sticker of $54,800. The editors and judges specifically pointed out the JX's innovative sliding, folding-clamshell second-row seats.
The next-priciest crossover was our 2012 SUV of the Year winner, the Range Rover Evoque. The judges highlighted Range Rover's signature rugged yet luxurious style in the Evoque's interior.
Proving that the contest isn't simply among the upscale models, the 2013 Mazda CX-5 also won a spot, coming in at $30,415 as-tested. Judges were impressed by the versatility of the CX-5's flat-folding rear seats, perforated leather seats, and the upscale style of its metallic trim-accented gauges, climate, and radio control knobs.
