The 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque has not only proven itself special enough to be named our 2012 SUV of the Year, but it has become something of a fashion icon as well, one that's caught the eyes of the aftermarket. German tuner Hamann, traditionally known for its BMW performance and accessory offerings, now offers a widebody styling kit and engine and suspension tuning components for the avant-garde SUV.
The styling kit consists of a two-piece front spoiler, side sill extensions, fender flares, rear apron, and a sport muffler with center-exit exhaust. If that's not enough stylistic attitude for you, Hamann also offers 22-inch wheels and spacers to fill out the newly broadened wheel wells. Lowering springs that drop the ride height by approximately 1.2 inches (30mm) are also available.
If you want a little more power than what's offered by the factory, Hamann offers two stages of chip-tuning for the European-market 2.2-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder and one for the 2.0-liter GDI turbo, the only engine option on the U.S.-spec model. The diesel can be tuned for up to 220 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque, the gasoline engine up to 260 hp and 291 lb-ft.
